On Saturday, April 22, the Rotary Club of Twin Valley and our partners, the Twin Valley High School chapter of the National Honor Society and the Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center (RHWELC) will be donning orange vests, white gloves and big smiles as we pick up litter along Route 23 from the location of the Twin Valley Fire Department to the Brandywine Branch Distillery, a distance of 2.6 miles.
Cleaning up this stretch of road is a needed and satisfying project in itself, but we would like to make it more – we would like to turn this litter into support for our two local libraries: The Honey Brook Community Library and The Village Library of Morgantown. To that end, we will be looking for financial sponsors for this day of work.
