Patrick Skoniczin
Patrick Skoniczin is a highly accomplished senior at Twin Valley High School. In addition to being a dedicated student, he is very involved in the music program, participating in Concert Band, Marching Band (as the drum major), Jazz Band, Symphony Orchestra, Chorus, and Select Chorus. Additionally, he has participated in several prestigious PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) ensembles, advancing to the County, District, and Region level both as a pianist and a vocalist, and to the All-State level on trumpet. Music has always been Patrick’s passion, and he is anticipating a career in the same, intending to major in music education next year. Whether it be playing piano, trumpet, accordion, singing, conducting, or composing, he constantly finds solace in music. Patrick also participates in several school clubs including the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society (as the Vice President), and Theatre Arts Club (as the President). Outside of school, Patrick spends his time singing in his church’s choir, composing music, or just being with friends and family. He particularly enjoys spending time at his beach house in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Patrick would like to thank his teachers, friends, and family for always supporting his endeavors.
Camrynn Owens
Camrynn Owens is a senior at Twin Valley this year and is largely involved throughout the school. She is the senior class vice president and is an officer for both the Mini-THON and Student Council clubs where she spends much of her time planning events throughout the school year. She is also an active member of NHS, Link, High School Heroes, Varsity Club, and History Club. Growing up, she played various sports and has played travel lacrosse since the fifth grade for the Xtreme Lacrosse Club which is ranked 50th in the nation. She is currently on the High School lacrosse team which has advanced to the state championship the past two years and has also won county and district titles. Camrynn was named to the Berks All-County lacrosse team this past season. She is ranked number 3 in the class with a 4.446 cumulative GPA and consistently pushes herself academically. She has won the AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP United States History, and German 1 end-of-year awards. She was one of two students nominated as a HOBY Leader her sophomore year and has attended multiple leadership retreats through Student Council and Mini-THON. With a passion for math and science, she plans on majoring in Biomedical Engineering and is currently applying to a variety of schools.
