She has received awards of Outstanding Academic Achievement in English 9 Honors, Algebra II Honors, Physics Honors, Health 10, AP US History, Honors International Studies, and Spanish IV Honors and maintains a GPA of 4.438. She hopes that one day she might become a professional player, or at least involved in the professional game in some aspect, whether that be as a player, a coach, or a trainer. In the meantime, Mikayla hopes to enjoy her last year of playing in high school and potentially coach a younger team for club volleyball in the spring. Mikayla’s biggest goal this year is to give back to the community that gave so much to her.
