In a ceremony at our Wednesdays breakfast meeting two Twin Valley Students were awarded our Twin Valley Rotary Student of the Month Award.
Dylan Marberger
In my high school career I have received distinguished honor roll every quarter each year with a rigorous course load. I have participated in varsity softball for two years as well as been a member of various clubs. I have been a member of Student Council all four years, and became a Vice-President this year. In order to become a well-rounded person I decided to involve myself in the community. I played travel softball for two years and then went on to assistant coach little league softball, which is still ongoing. I participate in multiple volunteer opportunities such as salvation army dinners, Chester County food bank, and feeding homeless with a church. I also have a part-time job at Wegmans and I tutor a fifth grader in math as well. In my future I plan to attend college with a bachelor of science in both Business Administration and Psychology. Once I graduate I plan to receive the highest degree in my field while working and continuing to do what I can to help my community.
Nick Gordon
Nick has been involved in several activities during his high school tenure. He has been a part of the Percussion Ensemble all four of his years. He has also been the section leader for the Ensemble during both his junior and senior campaigns. Nick has also served as the percussionist for the pit orchestra for our school’s musicals. Nick auditioned for and made The Green Machine, a selective jazz ensemble, as the drum set player. Nick has also been on the distinguished honor role all throughout his time at Twin Valley. He has also recently been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout; an accomplishment for which he is very proud.
