Kylie Duke
Kylie Duke participates actively in a number of school-related sports and activities, including Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Swim Team, Golf Team, Student Council, Mini-THON, NHS, TVHS Heros, Ski Club, Varsity Club, and LINK. She is a diligent student who has been on the Distinguished Honor Roll since her freshman year.
She also consistently challenges herself by enrolling in several AP courses over her high school career. Since January 2024, Kylie has been doing exceptionally well during her internship at an architecture firm, where she assists in the creation of 3D models for projects. Kylie appreciates being able to support the company and takes this internship very seriously.
She serves as both Mini-THON’s Public Relations Overall and Student Council President.
Kylie is committed and enjoys participating in Twin Valley’s student involvement events. This year, as a senior, she also joined the golf and swim teams to try something different. Kylie has been a member of the varsity field hockey team for three years and the varsity lacrosse team for four years.
Kylie intends to play Division 1 lacrosse and study interior design at High Point University in order to further her academic and athletic careers.
Angel Altringer
Angel Altringer is a senior at Twin Valley High School who prioritizes hard work, involvement, and giving back to his community. Balancing a rigorous academic schedule, he has consistently ranked at the top of his class and is a proud member of multiple honors associations, including the National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, and Spanish Honors Society, where he serves as president.
Athletically, Angel has been a dedicated member of the Cross-Country and Track teams throughout high school, specializing in Pole Vault. These activities have taught him perseverance and teamwork, which he values as much as the friendships he has formed along the way.
In addition to sports, Angel has embraced leadership roles in various organizations, such as serving as class secretary, Reporting Chair for the Technology Student Association, and a leader in LINK, where he helps mentor peers and organize events. He is also active in Student Council, Mini-Thon, and the Health Occupation Student Association, among others. Outside of school, Angel worked as a lifeguard and recently became a closing manager at his current job. He also volunteers with local organizations like the Twin Valley Food Pantry and the Salvation Army, experiences that have deepened his appreciation for helping others.
Looking to the future, Angel plans to double major in Biochemistry and Pre-Medicine, combining his academic strengths, leadership skills, and passion for service to make a meaningful impact.
