Madison Morgan
Madison Morgan is a senior at Twin Valley High School who has made herself a very involved member of this community through the years. She is a hardworking student in the classroom as she has challenged herself academically with rigorous courses. Outside of the classroom, Madison is a player on the golf team. In just her two years of playing golf, Madison improved her average by 12 strokes and had the highest placement in the history of our female program at the district 3 golf tournament. Madison balances academics, sports, and extracurriculars and is heavily involved in some of the biggest clubs at TVHS. She dedicates much time to Mini-THON, Student Council, TVCEF, and LINK, where she now holds leadership positions. Madison has personally raised over $10,000 to fight pediatric cancer which has included countless hours of participating in club fundraisers, as well as writing personalized letters to family and friends asking for donations. As the club’s Fundraising Overall last year, she helped plan and execute fundraisers that led to a Mini-THON record of $41,179.61 donated to the Four Diamonds. As a senior, she is currently serving as the Mini-THON Club Overall (President) and is an exemplary leader of the club, maximizing the potential of each individual member to make the largest positive impact as possible. Madison is also an active leader in the highly selective Mini-THON Student Leadership Council where she helps serve as an advocate and leader for Four Diamonds, Mini-THON, and more than 90,000 students who are on a mission to conquer childhood cancer. Because of all of these accomplishments demonstrating her dedication to the community, she was recently named Twin Valley Community Education Foundation’s 2022 Rising Star.
Jack Lord
Jack Lord is a senior at Twin Valley High School. He has played ice hockey since he was in kindergarten; it has been his favorite sport, and hobby for as long as he can remember. He plays for a travel team out of Exton called the Exton Kings and also plays for the Raiders at the Twin Valley Ice Hockey Club. While Ice Hockey is his favorite sport, he has also been playing baseball for the same amount of time. Going into his senior seasons for both sports, his advice to younger players is to not take the time for granted. Outside of sports, he loves snowboarding and spending time with my family and friends. He has been skiing since he was in preschool and snowboarding for a few years. He enjoys going up to Vermont in the mountains with his friends. Jack is currently employed at Emily’s Restaurant and Doc and Bubba’s Restaurant. Jack says that both jobs have taught him a lot about time management, responsibility and managing money.
