Dakota Paton
Dakota Paton is a current senior at TVHS. She is thankful for the many opportunities she has at school to get involved and build community while also enhancing her leadership skills. At school, Dakota is involved in HS Heroes, LINK, Select Choir, Theatre Arts Club, and is a member of the International Thespian Society. She serves as President of the Awakening Bible Study, sits on the leadership council for Chorus, and is on the Senior Class Officer Board. She has also participated in the musicals over the last 3 years and will again for the upcoming spring musical. Outside of school, Dakota can be found teaching, volunteering with Anchored Ministries, babysitting, or working at her part-time job. At the end of her junior year, Dakota earned the Citizenship Award from Senator Katie Muth for showing hard work and dedication in her activities at school. Earlier this month, Dakota was recognized by the student body as the 2024 Homecoming Queen. Dakota is a part of the internship program at Twin Valley High School. Currently, she is interning with Mrs. Zacharda as she learns how to run a preschool and teach in the Child Care Today class. In the Spring she will intern at TVEC to further her teaching skills and shadow 2 teachers within the kindergarten and 4th grade classrooms. After graduating, Dakota plans to attend Messiah University to earn a dual-certification major in Early Education and Special Education to become a teacher.
Evan Johnson
Evan Johnson is a senior at Twin Valley High School. He is a role model and a leader for all of his classmates. He is a member of the football, track & field, and basketball teams. Currently, the football team has a record of 7 and 1 and is looking forward to continuing a great season. He is a club member of Chorus, Select Chorus, Theater Arts, Heros, and NHS. He would like to thank his mom for helping him maintain a balance between sports, extracurriculars, and academics. He is interested in helping those in need and being there for others. From a very young age, Evan has enjoyed taking math and anatomy classes. This year he is taking AP Statistics and Human Anatomy and Physiology. On the football field, Evan holds the school record for the most career touchdowns. On the stage, he has had lead roles in recent musicals. Recently Evan was voted the 2024 Homecoming King, and he is very thankful for all the love at Twin Valley! Evan’s future plans are to attend a college where he can become a physical therapist and help those who are fighting injuries. Lastly, he would like to thank his family for always being there for him and supporting him through all of his endeavors
