On Thursday, May 24 at the Twin Valley Annual Honors and Awards Ceremony Senior Rachel Ink was presented with the Twin Valley Rotary Club’s Scholarship for $1,000.00. The scholarship is given to a student who best reflects the Rotary Motto of “Service Above Self”. Therefore the purpose of the Rotary award is to recognize a college bound student with good character and extensive community service activities. Both of which Rachel has in abundance. Rachel plans on attending Penn State University in the fall and looks forward to using the money for college expenses.
