On June 24, 2015 the Twin Valley Rotary Club made a donation of $500 to join three other District Rotary Clubs to support the digging of a new well for a school in Haiti that teaches 130 students who are orphans and cannot afford to attend school. Assistant District Governor Sue Mardonly presented a program on the project. Sue has been directly involved in the development of the school for five years and serves as the President of Mommy Sue’s Children, a grass roots organization helping to provide free education in Haiti. The well will eliminate a two mile one way walk to obtain water.
